The Westhope Presbyterian Church recognizes and honors it is located on the ethno-historic territory of the Somontac / Partacsi / Rictocsi / Thámien Ohlone dialect-speaking tribes.

This unceded tribal land was, and continues to be, of great spiritual and historical significance to the Muwekma Ohlone tribe.

Consistent with our values of inclusion and diversity, we acknowledge that every member of the larger community has benefitted and continues to benefit from the use of this land.

It is vitally important that we recognize the history of the land on which we live, work and learn, but also that we stand with the Muwekma Ohlone People who are alive and thriving members of Saratoga and the broader Bay Area today.
